Wersi's are SO overpriced, this isn't going to put any pressure on Audya to drop their prices. I'll wager it comes out at least a couple of grand MORE than the Audya... Mind you, IF someone made a VSTi with ALL chord types and a good library of styles, it might actually do what Ketron failed to make happen... allow streaming guitar chords, basslines, horns, whatever. But content is still going to be the big issue. It's all well and good to have the technology, but SOMEBODY has to prepare all those loops, in all the chords, with variation changes, fills, etc.. And that is not going to be cheap, either!

Hi Diki If memory serves correct (Were going back over 10 years now) the Pegasus was only slightly higher in price to the other TOTL Arrangers at that time, (Most also didn’t have hard drives, touch screens, and an updatable OS, whereas the Pegasus did, it also had 18bit D/A converters) so hopefully the new one will be the same. Roll on the Summerfest

Its where Audya shines (factory styles) its where mediastation failes, but its espescially where Yamaha with its huge range of 3rd party styles wins big time. So lets just see what happens... OAS allready has the vsti support, and the native yamaha style support...

I'd be very surprised if it's priced under the Audya Bill.
Now.., it would be very cool if Wersi priced this model to compete with a T3, Korg PA, or G-70. If Wersi did that and made it KNOWN in the USA.., they'd probably sell quite a few of them here. I don't think Wersi has any interest in the US market though.., it's obvious as the styles they keep supplying for their line are all Euro based. All their attempts at western styles are really nothing more than euro interpretations that never seem to really quite get it right.
