Does anyone know of a simple and small devise that will allow me to dump and retrieve system exclusve data? I have an old Alesis Data Disk (which works great) - just thought that maybe there was a smaller device out there that would be great to take on the road. I realize a laptop would be the best ... but a road gig came to me last minute and I am trying to pull things together quickly. The act is renting me the same gear I use when playing local gigs. This allows me to work on sounds at home ... save them to the Alesis Data Disk ... show up at the venue with rented gear ... load the info and it should be like my own gear is sitting in front of me. (I hope.) Any suggestions?

Any sequencer on a laptop would be an excellent idea.
