I recently obtained a Yamaha CLP 50 digital piano. It's quite an oldie I believe. Howevere it does support MIDI, so I linked it to my PC (running cubase 5.0). When I record something and play it back to the piano, it sounds like all notes have the same length. I mean, the 'sustain' is always the same, while I touched some notes longer then others.
When I open the bar editor, everything looks fine (The recorded notes vary in length). Does anyone know what to do about this?

Thanks! I tried this, but now I have another problem: Various pieces of piano are lying around in my house...

So, did you find out what was wrong?

Either you somehow caused it to globally quantize or packet-group the signal for perform or maybe you have a coruppted file. try un, then re installing the app.

maybe try a little more grinding
