Thanks Eric, Good stuff.
Showcasing T3s authentic instrument sounds, that guy has mastered an excellent playing technique.
Quite a few players play everything like an organ or piano but this guy is different.
Really enjoyed it, thanks for the links.

Is there some mp3 playback or custom samples going on in there? That one with the vocals doing the chanting thing (without him moving his hands) sounded TOO good

Had to laugh at the 'Sledgehammer' intro, though!

Hi Diki,
I think those are some custom samples.
Yamaha Germany released some Gregorian Chants samples within their SFX Kit a while back, which I put on my Multipads for Enigma type of Music. Pretty cool feature.

I need to learn a lot more about the T3....Especially the registration use. That was impressive. I heard the upcoming Yamaha Vocal Packs. They are amazing. I think the "Arab" voices were sampled. He used the split points well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYZzzzIbZjo&feature=channel

Another example of using sampled voice performances within the T3

I could swear he was using the reg banks to add additional style variations. Forgot about that additional trick. Need long arms though. HE was so fluid in his actions and playing. No quick stabs at buttons, Seemed very rehearsed like it should be for optimum results.
Also notice he was using left hand voice Pads in style playing

Yeah there is a LOT still to learn about the Tyros in this house.
Note to self......KNOW THY KEYBOARD before running to another solution!!!

The commentary claims sans trucages, roughly translated, without faking.

That is not a native voice...but cartinaly not "faked"
Sampling cannot be considered faking...And it shouldn't be. ALL the voices are pretty much sampled in a T3.

Demos that show the capability of the instrument, should be including sampling capabilities. Not a bad idea/
