I had to post this guys... It being the season and all... Not sure if anyone here has seen this guy.., but in some of his vids he does a pretty mean talkbox. He's also famous for the "Ghetto Talkbox". I first saw this vid a few years ago.

Man, I'm gonna save that, in case I need it for a nursing home gig.

If my memory servers me right.., I think that talkbox he used was a homemade model. He's the master of the "Ghetto Talkbox" which is a basic talkbox slapped together with odds and ends you have laying around the house.

I think he used one of his good custom boxes on this one. The patch used is also a tweeked patch on that Casio CZ.

Clearly this Cat can seriously play but what's really impressive is how good he is with that talkbox. It may seem simple but to master the talkbox and make it sound so intelligible is quite an accomplishment.

The recording was actually done with a high quality talkbox, not the Ghetto Talkbox he shows you how to make in one of his videos. Even if he had used the Ghetto Talkbox his talent would still have shined through. Great job!

Lee.., yes this guy is really talented on the talkbox. These things ARE NOT easy to use. It takes a lot of practice to get good on one. He also has some good gear too. The talkbox in this vid was a top end one he made himself. He has the "ghetto version".., and he sounds amazing on that one too.
