I have a Sandisk m240 which is a modest 1 GB m3 player...

Began to transfer over a few cd's worth of stuff (store bought CD's) and got a "no space left" error. OK, no biggie...However, when I navigated to the folder where all the music is, it only showed the 2 cd's I'd transferred today and nothing else.

It now says my playlist folder is empty...

Now, if you go back to the My Computer screen that shows all the main drives on your computer, I right click on sandisk >properties it shows the device is filled up to the max.

Why does the device show as full (the songs are on it and able to be played) while when attempting to delete anything from it it shows as empty?

How do I access the content on this sucker and then edit it?

What a headache...

Thanks!

Bill, you need to use the proprietary SanDisk software.

Bill, download it from the Sansa site:
www.sandisk.com/techsupport

1-866-726-3475.

You can also download the User Manual.

I have 3 Sansa's. Just got the Sansa Clip, 4Gb and not much bigger than a postage stamp. Great sound and long battery life. Paid $39.00 at Costco.

Bill:

Double check to make sure you did not accidentally upload a WAV file instead of MP3. (After you've used the proprietary file handling software by Sansa!)

Good luck,

Dave
