I have found a way to make my mp3 files display scrolling lyrics in my PA2X and would like to share it with you. I found several persons having a hard time like me experimenting with different software only to find that the PA2X won't read the files ! I am not sure if I may post a link to other forum in this one . If so I apologize beforehand. I actually don't care what is the use that people will give to this function . The case is that I've found in severalforums that the implementation of this function in the PA2x has been so far a mistery for a great deal of folks that have been trying to implement it ,with little or no help from Korg or the Korg manual for that matter. that being said, in my case , I enjoy playing on top of the audio file , and singing at he same time . This lyrics function will allow me to remember the words and the chords while I play , in the same fashion of a .kar file . that seems great to me . I am not trying to cretate a polemic thread here . Just wanted to share with THE INTERSTED users , what I've found . That's all . criticism of the function , I believe is a matter of another kind of thread . I suggest you start one .

Well, if you read my post as criticicm, that's your opinion of it.
It is more a statement about that PA2X now also can be added as yet
another karaoke machine.
Hat off for all who developes and make this wondermachines even better,
but don't be so touchy about comments. You'll learn to see that not all
comments that's not a loud praise are'nt as bad as you think.

To zuki: The software I used is Lyrics3ed. It works just fine . All the mp3 that i've modified are performing as expected.
To Gunnas Jonny: nothing personal about it . I respect your opinions and points of view. I sincerely hope you enjoy music as I do. It is just that I've grown accostumed to many posts in this and other forums , that get easily turned around , and like a snowball grow and create a bitter argument between members . In some other forum I found a post stating that he (she) had found after 28 days of hard work a solution for this problem . After several messages asking for the solution from many members such as myself ...there was no response . Either that person lost his (her) connection to the forum, or it wasn't true , or , just plainly doesn't want for anyone else to find out how it's done . In any case, as it is their prerrogative to share the information , I decided to go after the solution , even though after I read posts that state that an OS change will be needed to achieve it.I just want to share with everyone how to do it . And of course , put in perspective that what the manual says is true...it ca read lyrics in mp3 files! . Now i've read several complaints about issues with the PA2X ...I havn't had any so far with mine . But I am for establishing a group of PA2x/PA800 users as a block to address as one all the issues regarding the machine that must be fixed (for such a pricey unit like this one), and ask for the modifications that we would like implemented in the future. But also ...praise the people that are trying hard to improve it and give the modifications as a free download. Peace!

Sadly I'm not as good player as I'm a listener, but still have
fun. Best part, my wife still not scared away because of my
passion about the magical keyboards.

Abuot the next of your comments and reflections, I don't think
it's nessesary to elaborate further, cause this I think most of
the menbers here and elsewhere have experienced when see several
treads grow out of tracks and being deleted by Moderator.

Regarding your passion and work for PA users, it's just great,
and who knows, someday I might be a Korg user myself and join
into the Korg-community......

But I still don't fancy arranger keyboards as karaoke machines,
seen to many pretenders try convince the audience that it is
live playing and that they're reincarnation of Elvis or whatever
artist they try to be.
