Mikey, that was a tough loss for the Sox, they made a nice comeback.............. Sorry my friends in Philly I'm rooting for Tampa Bay. Rocco Baldelli graduated from the same high school I did.

I was reviewing the picks of the big time bookies. Up to the start of the playoffs, Philadelphia and Tampa were not seriously considered to be at the 'big dance' - odds were about 80 to 1. The top bets were Boston v. Chicago and Angels v. Chicago. Now these same experts, some of whom sang about a N.Y. subway series at the start of the season, are picking the Rays to win it all - the betting lines are out this A.M. As a Phil's Phan, having attended my first game about 60 years ago, I wish the 'experts' continued success. Go Phils!
