Gang-

Curious if anyone else's bookings are well ahead of the usual pace?

I am almost 200 gigs ahead of my pace last year with no real changes on my end. When I ask clients why are they contacting me earlier than usual I'm getting sort of a generic, "We want to make sure we get who we want."

That's cool, of course but I've not dramatically changed my act from previous years...(Songs/content yes, anything else, no..)

I'd love to know if there's others who have seen this also. It's important to know why this stuff changes, I think...

Thoughts?

Thanks-

Could be you do a good job and they want you..

Could be you do not charge as much as others..

Could be both..

Fran-

Most of my clients have been with me 10 years or more, so I think they're pretty happy with me.

Price wise, I'm on the high end of the solo acts prices...

(There's Duo's in the area that charge less than I do for a solo job...)
