My local dealer has a dual foot switch on e-bay.

They are very a reputable dealer.

May suit your needs.

Have you ever looked inside an FC-7 Roland pedal Donny? Does the FS-5/6 have the same surface mounted switch mechanism?

I've been using an FC-7 for all my switching needs, including sustain for three years now, and I have reliability problems on the switches I use for sustain (not the rest), probably because the thing wasn't really designed to be used for something you do thousands of times more than change variations, start and stop, etc..

If the FS5/6 has a different switch mechanism (it has an identical exterior) to the FC-7, maybe I can replace the FC-7's switches with these more reliable ones (presumable, they ARE more reliable? You use them for sustain?)...

Any advice would be appreciated.

Diki, Me and Uncle Dave have used the FS5 x2 for many years on stage and never had a problem so far ....one for sustain, one for VH. But this all in one for $45.00 is worth a try, if not I chuck it simple

Unless something has dramatically changed, you cannot use two metal pedals that have a common ground connection with a Yamaha keyboard. It caused a conflict when I tried them on the PSR series of boards because of the keyboard's floating ground connection. If the pedals do not have a common ground (ring) connection, there should not be a problem.

Good Luck,

Gary
