Open it up.

the Screen is amazing, beautiful, sharp, a pleasure to look at, leaps above the T2 screen

the keybed is also beautiful, it feels much better than the T2 that I remember

so far demo style of sax and bass, the bass was full and deep, something that has been missing from Yamaha in the past.

sax was great.

gotta go play more

Drums seem to have more bottom end and presence, I guess they were listening

Curious about something Frank. When you say more bottom.., is it new samples or does it sound as if they made effects setting changes to make the kits pop more?

It's most likely the fx processor have been completely re-done and dedicated to individual sounds instead of grouped fxs

How do those keys feel? I loved the keys on the Tyros 2. I was told these new keys on the Tyros 3 are supposed to be the same keybed used for the Motif XS6.... I found that odd too because when the XS6 was released write-ups stated the XS6's bed was supposed to resemble the Tyros 2

So far there is no Documents proof of any upgrade to the VH.

The keybed feels much better to me, but it could be that I have played the S900 way too much,.

The VH seems the same but for some reason a little smoother, probably because of the better fx proc.

The have an assign slider which by default is for the keyboard volume on the right, pretty cool.

Seems to me the style are pretty much the same with some new ones but the styles I thought that were poor, are still poor.

SA2 voices are very nice, and they are doing the the mono/poly mix with slides, bends, and other fx on the way play or slurred, very cool.

They have a dedicated eq for the yamaha speaker system.

Did I mention how nice that screen looks!!!

ok I gotta go ship some keyboards, I'll be checking the forum, if anyone has any particular questions, just fire away
