For you, maybe... Six YEARS is a short time for me!

Three and counting, for the G70. Haven't seen anything that remotely tempts me, yet

I took out my G70 and Electro 61 yesterday. It's the best combo I've ever had. I have one glitch in the midi to figure out, but it is minor. The bonus is that I didn't have to take my laptop, and the SMF's had more kick from the G70 than my lt with a premium sound card.

Bernie congrats on your new double rig sounds like a winner for sure....I admire you guys using double KB's, Midi controllers, etc etc .....I just could never work all that into my shows just Too much to contend with with so many different gigs per week in & out all the time......

enjoy

Hi,

Since the Sono 88 is new I found it hard to get any real world reviews or impressions. At the end I decided to order one anyway.

So far I really like it as well. I was wondering if anybody here has used it with Cakewalk Sonar. I just tried today and got mixed results. I was happy with the onboard audio but there are certain annoyances. For example it's hard to turn off the onboard sounds while using purely as a midi controller (since you are monitoring the sono out not the PC sound card you have no choice but to hear whatever the sono is playing).

If you are thinking of buying one I recommend doing your homework well because it can have both good and bad surprises.

But if you know what you are getting into and if it fits your needs, this is a good deal.

cheers
