Well ... this long time Yamaha owner has just ordered a Korg Pa2x. I'm still holding onto my T2 for now, but I've decided that Korg is the keyboard for the dance floor ...

If T3 proves me wrong, well, I'll be glad to change back, but I have a break for a couple of weeks now which I won't have again for a long time and wanted to use the time to prep the 2x.

Chony - awewsome. Along side the T2, it'll give you the whole spectrum - great combination. Have fun and let us know if you need any help. Korg sure is making some in-roads lately

Welcome to the Pa2 club!! You will love this board, it has so many features. It is really very, very different from the Tyros2

Chony congratulations on the PA2xPro, I'm a former Tyros2 owner as well. As Al says it's a different machine. I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us Korg owners do.
Good luck!!

Write a mini-review/first impressions for us all if you have time....

(I have a PA1X Pro Elite, but would be interested in any "user impressions" re this Board)

Worked a bit more tonight on creating artist medleys (completed Elvis):

It's actually very easy to edit and put a smf in a 'custom' SONGBOOK. Easy to save the RH1 settings, pads and trigger harmony in split or full mode while reading the scrolling lyrics. No need to use performance mode.

Well, I didn't exactly buy the Korg because of the broken button ... from what I'm told, the Yamaha has a much better build than the Korg and the button costs less than $50 to fix...

If I could have afforded to wait, I would have waited for the T3. If they plan to change all the drums on the T3, which I heard from a reliable source that they will, then it has a great chance of being a better pick than the Korg. I couldn't afford to wait half a year though...
