Are any of you using an interface with your computer?
And if you are, which one is it?

Thanks.

Forgot to mention...with my current keyboards, I do not need the MidiSport midi interface..The G70 has a USB midi interface that works great, and also my EMU X board controller USB interface works great..

Bernie , have you installed the G70 drivers and used the G70 via USB...Not many folks realize this ability on the G70..

I also use the midiman 2x2 midi interface.
I need an audio one for vocals.

Fran, how do you like the Edirol UA-1EX?

Thanks for the replies.

I have a Steinberg TSL-2020 (discontinued) on my studio computer that is dedicated to my Akai DPS24 and a Alesis I/o 26 on my (Vista) computer running Reaper. I also have a Midiman 4x4 which I don't currently use. I use Midi very little in the studio, preferring to lay down audio tracks live, one by one. There are advantages to both methods, I just prefer to do it this way.

TLS-2020 - Excellent, but no more driver upgrades so no support for Vista.

Alesis i/o 26 - Very good sound quality but Vista drivers can be a little shakey.

Both have excellent features.

I love the Edirol UA-1EX..I posted my feelings a week or two ago about the unit...The bonus was the Edirol drivers[asio] that surpassed the Asio drivers I was using..a $79 bargain..
