One would imagine that if this is a commercial instructional DVD, you have to BUY the code to watch it.

BTW, with video piracy approaching the glory days of Napster with BitTorrent and the like, can you blame any manufacturer for NOT making instructional DVD's? They cost a LOT of money to do well, and show little chance of making a profit (or even breaking even!)...

Let's face it, if this clip didn't need a code, how many of us would have downloaded it for free?

$80 or so, just for the basic T2 set... (from the second link).

If this was on YouTube for free, how many of you would STILL have sent them the money?

Best of luck getting a T3 set if the T2 one doesn't make a profit...

Simple lesson..You don't need a video to learn it.

Read the manual whilst using the controls on the keyboard and it is ALL very simple.

You blokes, with the exception of some (and they would know who they are), would have been hopeless learning how to use an program synths and midi back in the late 80's and early nineties.

Nowadays it's all a "give me everything so I can do nothing" approach...the "instant gratification" syndrome..

All BS

A lot of the fun with multipads is experimenting with them.

You can't break them!

I don't find them all that useful for chordal passages as they will not read bass inversion, but I do like them for string lines and percussion.

Yes the pads on the korg are quite fun to play with..

There are a few 3rd party programmed pads now for the Korg with guitar phrases and such like, which do add a bit of variety when playing.

And they are perfect for little percussion variations too, as you say Ian.

Yep, some people use/program them like arpeggiators, although the lack of inversions would limit them for me.

Do the Korg pads play inversions or slash chords if you have bass inversion set in the accompaniment?

Ian, I have only noticed the pad sequence just playing the pre-programmed chord structure.

They change chords, as you know, to go along with the current style playing, but I have not found any that actually change structure to reflect inverted chords.

It might be possibly to program a pad that is pre-set to say, a 2nd inversion, and thats all it plays, but I don't think they have the same "intelligence" as the main accomp CV's.
