Just made the decision to take the time off to go to summer NAMM. It's back in Nashville this year. Will be there with Q-Lighting, who is now partnering with Bob Burris, a long-time friend and designer of very high quality boutique tube amps and effects.

Anyone else going? Love to visit!

Maybe if it's on Sunday or Monday.

Don, there are a bunch of private things on Thursday night. John Sebastian is getting a lifetime songwriters award. He plays a Burris amp and will be in the Q-Lighting booth. I usually go down early Friday (official opening) to arrive when the doors open. I stay Friday night, stay until noon on Saturday and get back to Lexington in time for my Saturday night gig. NAMM is the only week-end night I take off during the year.

The show closes on Sunday around noon. If there was any chance you could make it, I'd
come down Saturday and stay Sunday.

Lets talk this week. I might be able to hussle a ticket for you, if Q-Lighting has any left. The show is not open to the public, so we'd need to make sure a ticket from an attending company was available.

Call you later this week.

I'm going to try to get there, but I seriously doubt it, which is a real crying shame now that I'm living in Nashville. It happens that I need to be in Rifle Colorado that weekend for a Friday night and possibly Saturday show. Not sure if I'll be flown back to Nashville in time to hit Sunday or not, but I really really hope so.

Donny, I don't bet at all. I was imprerssed that the winner of the Derby was bred by the guy who bought my farm a few years ago (Gary Knapp).

Same horse also won the Belmont or Preakness...whatever was last Saturday (how's that for a real fan!).

Derby is one of the best playing days of the year...lots of dollars!Have a standing gig in the afternoon at a country club (same job-almost 30 years), my regular restaurant gig after that and then a private one for one of the nations largest owner/breeders (owns his own 747 to transport stock overseas).

Thanks,

Russ
