And the current model needs to be sold for long enough to defray the development costs, and provide a nifty profit for the company, otherwise there won't BE a 'next model'!

Korg are exceptionally good at updating their OS's for new features, rather than the Yamaha way of perpetual incremental model improvements (with no upgrade path for prior models), so I would not be holding my breath for a new Korg for quite a while...

How long ago did the PA1XPro come out? That's about how long you are likely to have to wait for the NEXT Korg TOTL.

What an impatient lot we are! I can't wait for news about the T4. Anyone want to sell their T3...?

You missed my point......I want the used stuff

Who, in their right mind, is going to sell a used PA2XPro UNTIL the PA3X comes out?

I think you missed mine (it was a joke!)

PA2X Pro (in the USA): 2008
PA3X Pro (US): 2012

And those used prices won't drop too much until a successor arrives. You might have better luck trading in the PA800 (as it is still very current and well received) for a PA2X Pro, if you really want one...

Nah, I'd keep the 800 in my studio and grab another one, or a 2X, for live.

If Korg doesn't beef up & really aggressively stock their style libraries very soon on par with Yamaha & add additional factory styles there will be many PA units available for sale & trade, I predict.

I doubt that. there is a whole lot more to the PA2X than styles. Yamaha needs the stayle library becaue thats all it depends on. The Korg has so much more going for it. I don't expect to see any used ones soon. People have been waiting for new ones.

The PA800 has been around awhile and you don't see any used on Ebay while you do see tyros 2 going for $2000...

kingfrog that's because the T3, Roland Gx90 & Audya aren't out yet...Korgs dominance will fade soon after they are on the market .....just watch.
