After waiting for weeks I finally received the Korg Pa2x today from Frank. Unfortunately a few keys were broken. Apparently something fell on the box. Didn't even get a chance to take it out of the box.....Bummer. Friggin Fed Ex.

OUCH I feel your pain. Last year when I bought the G70 that I eventually sold, the screen had been damaged in shipment by UPS. Very frustrating. Hopefully until you get it repaired you'll still be able to get familiar with the board. And you purchased from a terrific dealer.

On the chance that you are likely to order a nice flight case for the PA2XPro anyway, why not buy it from the Korg dealer, and have it shipped in THAT, next time...

Well I managed to pull some strings and there will be a replacement going out Friday.

Also I was just informed that I just hit #1 Korg arranger dealer in New England, knock on wood, hopefully it wasn't a fluke and I can keep it going.

I wouldn't buy a road case just to have a keyboard shipped. They are shipped all the time. How do you think GC and all the music stores get them. However when single boards are shipped they are not all nicely shrink wrapped on a pallet and are touched my many hands.

I hope no one thinks any less of Frank at AudioWorks. This was not his fault at all. Totally a luck of the draw in shipping via UPS or FedEx..In fact Frank was extremely accommodating. Working in a music store myself I know these things can happen. I think what really was surprising is the force of whatever fell on the keyboard did so much damage yet the box showed nothing out of the ordinary.

Well at least I have a manual to read. LOL.
Another few weeks won't kill me. IM still writing and gearing up the Studio. It took me more time to sell all of the keys and modules the Pa2X is going to replace. A work in progress since last Fall.......
