I decided to bite the bullet. Hopefully this will give me an edge over the JBL Eon10 G2s that I have been using the last few years. I got an incredible deal.

I'll get them within a week. I will post on how I liked them.

My decision was based on this review posted previously on the forum:

great speakers beaky. Too small for our current gig. But they sound great for the size. Nice tight bottom to them.

Thank you JCKeeys for posting this sound test.

I am super happy with how little I paid for these. Three retailers told me there was no way possible way they could sell me these for so little.

My website is making a little progress. It's taking too long for my tastes. My designer wants more pictures of me performing for audiences. I got to start going to my gigs with a camera and asking staff to take pictures - especially when people get up to dance.

Will you need a SUB with these smaller speakers.....or do they have sufficient bottom end?

Beaky, I have the 10 inch (2AA) and the 12 inch (4AA) FBT's and never had a problem yet. People have come up to me and stated that the sound is terrific. I have used them to play with the band having the voices, keyboards, guitar and sax coming through the 2AA's without distortion. Also, I use them for the small DJ gigs up to 100 people. They are light and sound clear. I use the 4AA for bigger jobs. One more item with the controls on the speaker. Always keep the GAIN at 0 or 10 o'clock. The manuals will also recommend it. The volume I keep at 3 o'clock. Check it out when you get them and good luck.

John ... Check the web site. The USA distributer is in Connecticut and when I called them to get info on their products they were very helpful.

I contacted them about authorized service centers. They were very quick to return my email.

The lady who replied told me that she will get back to me with the closest one in my area. She mentioned, however, that "We do have several repair stations nationwide ..."

Several nationwide is not very many. So the chance that there is one within driving distance is very small. This is definitely a minus, in my opinion. Maybe I can convince my local repair center (that repairs all major brands of musical electronics), less than a mile from my home, to become an authorized FBT repair center.
