YOu need a pmcia adapter to use the compact flash for cards up to and including 1 MB. the 2 and 4 mb require micro drive. I bought the adapter at Frys.com for 10.00. I bought the San Disc compact flash card, Ultra 111 high speed. I think it was about 40 some US dollars.

1 gig Compact Flash cards get be purchased for under $20..at Walmart, Radio Shack and Sam's Club..

yes they can in San jose too but they are the slow speed ultra 1. the ultra 2 higher speed is 30.00 and the ultra 3 high speed is 40.00. I have one of each and their is a big difference noted in the E 80.
