Hi,

I used to have the Midjay. I like everything about the unit. It is an awesome all in one box. The only difficult thing I have about the Midjay is the ability to assign the Voice patch (right hand) to the controller. Most controler is only able to get the first 8 sounds from the Miday voice list. Otherwise, it is a keeper for me. I wish there is an easy way to do this task.

Unless Ketron has a way for user made styles to be created on the Midjay Plus or created using a computer program and easily transfered to the midjay, then the midjay is not a useful tool for the pro musician.

I'm a pro musician and I found the Midjay extremely useful. I sorta wish I still had one in fact. It would be a killer combined with the SD5.
There are so many great styles around I didn't see a need to create my own, and I haven't for quite a few years now, even though most arrangers have that facility.
If you are writing and creating original music I could see where you would need to create a lot of styles though.
