Because I have a plethora of equipment, I have been elected to make a demo for one of my groups. There are three other members that are vocalists, and myself with the PA800 singing and playing. Because of geography etc, they are going to make their own tapes and give them to me. I will add mine and attempt to make a CD.

First of all, I realize this is not the optimal way to do a demo, but here I am. I have a all kinds of software programs, as well as a hard disk recorder and multitrack tape recorder.

One question is to the initial approach, i.e. to record the whole thing to disk and use markers to cut and paste, or try and record the segments of the tape. I can see normalization problems also.

I have more equipment than knowledge I'm afraid.
