has anyone had experience using the tyros 2 with any mac recording and sequencing programs. Any preferences from you guys or reccomendations.

how does an arranger work with these programs?

can it be a big plus, just wondering how I can utilize my mac for recording, sequencing etc.

I use Cubase 4 and I'm quite happy with it. Cubase according to all accounts is the king of MIDI which is probably what you have in mind.

If you use Cubase, be sure to install the "Tyros 2 patch" from this page http://www.robbys-hp.de/RM_Tyros2.html .

That said, I just installed the latest OS Leopard, and even though it does recognize that the T2 is there, I don't think it recognizes the MIDI driver...

So wait before you install Leopard.
