HI GUYS,
I just spent the last week and a half adding lyrics to all my registrations, wow
what a job. I purchasted a 17" moniter to connect to my T2 and a Head set mike as per Gary,I'm off and running. No more books! I did a test run at two NHs this week and found a couple buggs to work out, so I think I'm ready.

I'm working Saturday @ the House of Welsh in Fenwik Del. just outside of Ocean City MD. Should be a peice of cake.

As soon as I can get a hold of Gary to show me how to post pictures I'll post some. Neat setup

Jim, sounds like a great idea. How did you go about that? Or was there a thread earlier on that explains this?

Just upload the pictures to a website and post the link here. There are lots of free places to put the photos.

Hi Cassp,

Gary gave me a list of lyrics and I went through and picked out the ones that I do. The lyrics were in ms word format and must be converted to text format. Once they are in text format just save them to a flash drive. Incert the flash drive into the T2.

What I did was make a folder called aalyrics so they always come up first.

Do another folder with the same name on your HD then call up a registration. Go to the folder on the flash drive and select the the corasponding lyric and save it as you would any reg. and presto when you select thet reg. up comes the lyrics.

Hope this helps.

Jim

If you have a lot of lyric files, you'll have to make subdirectories. The Tyros is limited to the number of files per folder.
I loaded mine by alphabet. Also makes it easier to find a lyric on the fly.

OK, I understand that. I guess what I'm really looking for is HOW TO add lyrics to midi files. I'm sure there's a tutorial out there somewhere, but maybe just a brief overview would suffice for me now.

The easiest way to add lyrics to a midi file is using Serenade, which is available from www.1manband.nl/serenade for just $10. It's a piece of cake.
