I just added another set of YST-MS50 speakers to my Tyros setup and what a nice sound. The stereo presence is amazing in a package small enough to be carried around. For the price these speaker are hard to beat. I don't know when I'll use my big Crates again.

Happy Holidays to all from the wild west.

I'm glad you like those!

I feel the same way about my Tannoy system 600 speakers. Ever since I picked them up - I haven't use ANY of my other stuff.
The only downside was the fact that It was hard for me (at first) to tell a good mix from bad 'cause everything I put through the Tannoys sounded great.

Hello Richard

In other words you're using two sets of MS50's at once?

Richard,
I bought those speakers for my 2000 and thought that they wouldn't be large enough for my biggest dining room at a senior center! I was surprised when they were o k!
Glad for your post and I enjoy any and all of your music! Keith W. Bailey

Hi Scott,

Yes one for the right channel and one for the left channel. Because they're self powered there isn't any problem with a lack of signal. The down side is they sound so good I'll probably end up carrying both sets, even to my small jobs. Just what I need something else to set up.

Have a great day!

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the kind words. I too found the speakers adequate for all but the biggest jobs. The usual problem is the people in front with their fingers in their ears while the people in back are cupping their hands to hear. Being an ear player I use a headset so I can hear when things get really noisy.

Have a great day!
