This is something new some of you may have a use for. The Yamaha CRW-F1 CD recorder has special functions for audio mastering and can laser-etch labels/logos/text on the unused portion of regular CDR's. It's totally new labeling technology exclusive to Yamaha. They will come in many varieties including a dual USB/Firewire model and will be Mac/PC compatible. Release date is July 15, 2002 and price TBA.
