Nothing hidden at all. I remain very very satsified with Tyros2, but . . . if Roland ever adds jazz (aka 'rootless) chord recognition to the E80, nothing wrong with a two arr keyboard family, is there?

I've not played the E80 myself, but I know someone (a pro) who has, and who was very impressed, especially for its sound improvment over the G70, which he also played. He's got no plans to sell his Tyros2, but admitted that with the E80, Roland has now finally released an impressive sounding keyboard to compete with Tyros2, and healthy competition is a GOOD thing, to keep Yamaha on it's toes. - Scott

Well, to be honest, the Roland RA8800 (module version of the G800) + Fatar 1176 was my very FIRST arranger rig setup:

In addition, I still take my vintage Roland A-33 76 note keyboard controller for 'solo keyboard' gigs:

Hi

My G-70 is not for sale anymore. I have decided to keep it together with my new keyboard(T2).

Regards
Niels

Neils, Congratulations and welcome to the T2 owners club. As always, I'm always looking forward to hearing your arranger kb produced music, no matter which keyboard(s) (G70 or T2) you play it on. - Scott
