I picked up a extra garage door handle (free) from the overhead door company,(matter of fact they gave me a whole sackfull, they work great on lots of things) and attached it just a tad forward of center on the top of the sub. (don't get any closer than 4" of the front), that clears the speaker from possible sawdust droppings). If you do this you need to predrill the two holes and be carefull not to get any sawdust inside, (your drilling thru 3/4" particle board so stop the drill when your barely through). I used two 3/16 X 7/8 long lag bolts, and a wood tapered drill bit a tad smaller than 3/16". (very secure and easy to carry). the handles are left overs from the inside of garage doors, not needed with auto openers. Can be pre/painted. I think Gary uses a weblike sling which works fine, but this way is one less item to worry about.I would not consider using bolts instead of the lag screws, you'd have to take off the back (a zillion screws and its double sided tape sealed, you could cause a rattle if not careful).....Cheers .....pose

I carry mine in a duffle bag, I just don't zip up the top.

I use a computer strap. I think Gary posted the link several months ago. It works great.

Computer strap--$16.95 and supports up to 70 pounds. Just leave it on the sub and no one in the room will know.

You'll find them at Cyberguys

I got a rolling duffle bag from KMart. I guess that would be Sears Essentials now. It makes easy work out of moving the sub.

I covered the sub with hard-wearing speaker carpet and fitted corner protectors and then 3 strap handles across the top. There is a photo a description on an old post at
