Hello everyone,
The converted Roland styles I have for X1 are being used in SD1 . WHat's interesting is that Roland styles only take up drums ,bass,chord1,chord2 and chord 3. The SD1 has room for 2 more parts . I have assigned guitar loops from SD1 styles into Roland styles . The same is true for MS series styles ....I can add 2 more parts into these patterns ! As well as record additional drum parts on the 2 drum kit on SD1 . Very cool !
If you wish to make middle eastern styles ??? The remix styles feature can be very handy . You can mix Latin drum tracks with 8 beat tracks . Since the patterns will syncipate the styles sounds completely different .
If SD1 owners want specific examples than email me direct . Dan o

Dan01.......The Rolands have Drums, Bass, Plus 6 ACC's available, but most of the Roland styles use just 3 ACC's to provide a less complicated backing.
