DonM Senior Member Registered: 06/25/99 Posts: 16735 Loc: Benton, LA, USA	...well at least they came in for a few drinks. And only two of them were there. Anyway, I did "The Way You Do The Things You Do" for them, and they were very complimentary. They wanted to know where I got the arrangement. I had to explain how Arrangers work, and that the keyboard was triggering the background AND the harmonies. They had no idea technology like this existed. I had a nice visit, and should have some decent photos. Heck, THEY were taking photos of me too! They are in town to do the National Anthem at the Independence Bowl Thursday and also appearing at the Horseshoe Casino. DonM _________________________ DonM

I asked them where they were from and they introduced themselves. The "Temptation" I talked to was Larry Johnson. I just searched for him, and found this site: http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/ONEN9818/mycustompage0002.htm I know they are being billed at the Independence Bowl as "The Temptations" and I know that a couple of these guys are or have been in the group, but according to his webpage, Larry also tours with some other groups, including Junior Walker and The All-Stars, and even some of the past Supremes. He has had some success on his own as well. Seems like a really nice guy. I'm not certain what the entire story is!! DonM _________________________ DonM

I think the story is that obviously few of the original groups are still able to get together for various reasons, and some of these guys perform with several different groups when on tour ... t. _________________________ t.
