It's silver and it has speakers & 128 note polyphony and it's not as light in weight as a PSR3000....

With the exception of the 128 polyphony it sounds like the "Lone Ranger's Horse". Come on Daniel give us more.

I have also seen a few pictures of this new keyboard and it is silver, it does have 128 note polyphony and I really like the button layout. That's all you get out of me! I've been asked not to give out information until the NAMM show. I'm only telling what Dan has already mentioned.

I got a look at it today. It has great vocalizer, accepts all media types, has direct record, in multi-track form. All styles can be easily replaced. All new operating system, similar to Yamaha. Huge new color display that can also project a message of your choice to the audience. Your choice of joy stick or wheels. Independent channel aftertouch. Amazing new sounds that respond to key pressure, similar to Tyros 2, but better.
It weighs 28 pounds, has 76 keys, has 220-watt on board speaker system, designed by Bose, in which speakers face both you and the audience. The speakers that face the audience can be telescoped up to project over the heads of the audience. It has onboard 6-channel mixer with inputs for 6 other mics or instruments, which can each have their own effects selected.
You can chose your own cabinet color of silver, black or fuscia (for Tony W
It is totally sealed so that any drinks spilled on it will simply be repelled. In fact there is an optional drink-recycler that funnels the spilled liquid into a detachable cup. (For HankB).
In also has a built-in video camera that records your performance entirely and burns it to DVD, if you choose.
It is the only keyboard to date that will realistically imitate the Chapman Stick (for Terry).
It also will be available in a software version (for Frank and Rikki).
It will have a built-in weather warning system (for Tony R., Eddie, and all those in Florida and LA.) (Scottyee: future upgrades may include a Seismograph).
Ketron is so certain we will like this new keyboard that they are offering a free 120-day trial, with no deposit required. If you don't like it after four months, they will send UPS to pick it up.
Best of all the cost is less than a PSR3000, or a new SUV.
No wait, I was only imagining I saw it.
Sorry,
DonM

Hi Don,
you've got me in stitches.
Sheer relief , I think, you had me fooled for the first 5 or 6 lines, my chin hit my knees, or maybe I was trying to kick myself in the head for dashing out & buying the sd1+ just before Winter Namm.
Only kidding , I'm really happy with my sd1+. ( a software version of it would be nice though, we could have both a yammie & a ketron in a laptop) haa haa.
