Go to http://www.yamahamusicsoft.com/power_styles/ for info on these new downloads of professional styles. At $5 apiece, ($30 for 6), they are a bit pricey. I purchased Easy Listening and Ballroom Dance. There is a great Cha Cha Cha on the Latin selection, but none of the others interest me.

I'll tell you how they sound in my keyboard tomorrow.

Hi!
I have all the disks, and I think they are really great. IMHO they are better than the internal styles, there is more punch to them, nicer fills, intros and endings.

They are not bad, a bit too "engineered" for my tastes and fussy, but quite polished. As usual there's lots of 12 string guitars in them, seems to be a yamaha signature! $30 though for 6 styles does seem a bit expensive, but then I would say that because I sell mine cheaper! :-)

Regards
Simon

I differ from Simon. I own four of these series, and most of the styles sound fantastic. Some of the C intros and endings are a bit over involved. If you perform professionally using any of these styles, you owe it to your audience to splurge on these styles. They sound every bit as good or better than the PSR2000 internal styles.

The styles sound great! But as usual they have very styles for the country musician!
Guess I'm going to have to write me some new Intro's & Ending's for the one's I have!
I have some very good styls on my 2000, which
I'm still having a ball witch!
I going to get these's disks as soon as I can find some bucks that my wife don't want!
he,he!
