Hello,
Maybe totally off topic, but since years I allways wondered if/or a very early synth, was a moog?
I still have some very old vinyl records from
a composer called Walter Carlos, one of the
lp's is called Clockwork Orange (I think it was film music) and there's a synth used, which might be one of the first, so I wonder was this a first moog or whatever???

I wonder who can answer this question???

I do not know if you have found the answer to your question yet. In case you have not, here is some information for you. Way back in 1968, Walter Carlos and Robert Moog worked up the music that made us the popular animals we are today. It was by far not the first electronic music, but it was the first to gain mass public acceptance. It was 'Switched on Bach'. Robert went on to produce some of the best electronic music keyboards ever made and Walter went on to become 'Wendy' and compose some of the masterpeices in electronic music. 'Clockwork' was one of them. Yes it was one of the first Moogs. I think that electronic music would have eventually become popular but the team of Wendy and Robert accelerated our craft by at least 30 years. Hats off, great and many thanks for this.
(i have Switched on Bach in Vinyl) but I don't have the original packing anymore so these records are in blanc sheets, so I never could find any details, I did rescue the LP's a bit as I recorded them on PC and burned Cd's from it.
(Had to edit heavy though to get the scratches/hiss out.)
