Hi peeps.
Do any of you Tyros 2 users (or T1) happen to have a sound (TVN etc) or maybe a multipad that offers thunder and lightening effects and possibly heavy rain?
I think there may be a thunder sound in the gm set but it's pretty rubbish. I'm wanting something far more realistic. The old G1000 has some great thunder effects on it (that will please Fran no doubt).
Please let me know if there are any to download or send me any to craig1@cornholio.nildram.co.uk
cheers

Not quite what you are looking for, but some good free samples.
Hope you'll find something

Here is a Thunder and Rain .wav that is very small in size. The neat thing is that after you load it into your Tyros2 use the Song Control and hit SP1 and enable the 'loop' feature to get the .wav to repeat as often as you wish. It should blend in naturally as it repeats. That is of course if the Tyros2 Song Control allows you to playback .wav files.

Thunder and Rain

Best regards,
Mike

Not even the G1000 can beat this one

just convert it to WAV, import in T2 and use it the way you want.

Mike's sample works okay...

Kla4 your sample is a sound track ..too hard to control..

What makes the G1000, G70 etc more practical..you can control the thunder, rain, and wind independently when it is needed...and it also sounds realistic too.

BTW.. Kla4 that soundtrack sounds like it was recorded at my house 2 weeks ago..

I'm sure you can edit the soundtrack , section it and assign to multiple pads,,,but it sure is easier to use a G1000..

I'm wanting it for some Jean Michelle Jarre songs like Equinoxe and Oxygene. Probably use it for the into to Telstar as well.

keybplayer just tried your link, it's more like a Lion roaring with a sore throat but thanks anyway

Suggestion -- Download and install "Aura", a program that plays a "mixable" assortment of very realistic nature sounds (including rain and thunderstorm). Record and edit the output as desired, making your own wave files. This is a very good program!!! And it is free.
