I recently got a K2000S from a friend, and not being a keyboard player, I have a few questions...

1. Can you load Akai samples into the K2000?

2. Will it recognize a ZIP drive on the SCSI port?

3. What are some good sources for sounds and samples? I am looking for a good Wurly mainly, but could also use good B-3 sounds, and real drums and pianos.

Thanks to all from this newbie...

Two answer your first two questions... YES (thought the zip drive would require one of the more recent OS releases) What OS does it have?

#3...a good place for lots of Kurzweil information (and free sounds) is www.sonikmatter.com (they have an excellent Kurzweil forum too)

Kurzrep:
Thanks for your reply. It is running version 2.08j. If I need a later software version, where might I obtain that?
