Just got the K2500XS fully loaded and enjoying unit but embaressingly enough I can't get the sustain pedal working although all settings are on in layer and midi transmit receive.
Any ideas?

Settin up the K25 can be a little tricky as there are many control options. First, since the k25 has four pedal inputs, make sure you have your sustain pedal plugged into the correct foot switch jack- usually #1.

If that dosen't work, go into the midi section (hit "MIDI" top button next to your display) and see if you have CtlSetup: "#97 ControlSetup" selected. If not, pull it up and try the pedal again. **The midi section, by the way, is where you'll configure all controls to your liking.

If your sustain still doesn't work after trying the above:
Highlight "#97 ControlSetup" and hit edit. Use the MORE button until you see FOOTSW at the bottom of the display and press the button directly underneath. Across the display -left to right- "FtSw1;" should have the settings of: Moment - Sustain - 127 - 0 - None - None.
