Hi folks,

in a few days I will get a PSR-740. Has anyone experience which mics will work well with this kyb?

...just own a "Shure SM58".

cheers,

The Shure SM58 has been a work horse for musicians for years and will work fine with your PSR740...it's a fine Mic for sure.

Yes the SM58 is a legend - but my question is whether the impedance of the mike will fit to the 740. I've heard the kyb has referring to this a selective manner...

It will work as well as any mic does with the 740. The 740 mic input is not quite up to the measure of the 8000, 9000, 2000 etc, but it is quite useable.
