During the past several months, I had the opportunity to meet up with Helmut Licht, an OMB performer in the Baltimore area who is not only an outstanding performer and composer, but a generour, caring person as well. He recently purchased a PSR-3000 from Dan01 at Keyboard City and Dan told him if he had any technical questions to call me. (For some strange reason, Dan, and a few other's think I know all about these things.)

I walked Helmut through the pitfalls of creating registrations, setup files, MFD, and some of the other things not made very clear in Yamaha's user manuals. Since then, Helmut has been sending me his Song Of The Week, tunes that are very upbeat, creative and orriginal.

If you would like to hear some of his creations, you'll find them at Ballroom Music which is his very unique home page.

Enjoy,

Gary

Gary -
thanks for sharing that =
love the song "reason", especially the lyrics, which will probably be in my head all day long now - very catchy!!
And what do you mean the yammie manuals aren't clear??? Clear as mud to me!!
thanks to you and others here, i'm not feeling quite as "be-muddled" these days . . .

If anyone has any technical questions about their PSR3000 don't call DanO or George Kay call Gary Diamond. Hahahahahaha.

Helmut and his lovely wife Roni are good friends of mine. They were regulars at Rigatoni's where I played for nine years until it closed. He is a great guy with a lot of old world wisdom. And he is a great player especially of ballroom dance music. We'll have to all get together sometime.

Cheers,

Joe
