I may have an opportunity to buy a PSR2000 for $500 US, but I am not sure if I should get a PSR1500 instead. I don't need a harmonizer. The PSR2000 is 3 technologies ago, but a higher model then PSR1500. Does the PSR2000 have more voice ROM, more special voices (sweet, cool, live, etc.) then the PSR1500. The PSR1500 has a fully implemented USB right (load and save styles on a thumb drive)?
Can't decide. "Need more input", number 5 from Short Circuit.

I would go with a PSR1500 over a PSR2000..
More polyphony..96 to 64..

Better USB connection..
Better sounds..

It is an easy decision if you do not need a harmonizer.....but , bumping up to a PSR3000 makes more sense, if the money is not a factor...The 3k would be easier to resale than the PSR1500 or PSR 2000...and resale is important..it was important for me,,to get out of the PSR2100[I just don't like the PSR's...Good value[price wise]..but you really get what you paid for..

Appreciate your input Fran. Better Sounds!!! I wasn't expecting that answer.
The PSR3000 is a little steep for me, but I am still considering it.

I am basing better sounds on the following..The 2100 had better sounds than the 2000, and the 1500 is at least equal to the 2100,,in fact in may be better sounding than the 2100..

Hi Starkeeper: It's gotta be a tough decision and probably depends on two or three major factors: 1. Money; 2. Purpose: 3. Resale (if you plan to upgrade soon)

I use my 2000 for it's intended purpose, arranging and writing new songs. Sure, there are newer, fancier models out there but for my money, the 2000 still has alot of life left in her considering the difference in cost. BTW, I do use the harmonizer to help mask my miserable voice. Good luck, you can't go wrong with either unit.
