Didn't look like the yamaha speakers did very well according to that reviewer page!
He put them in "don't get" catagory.

Yamaha has never been known for manufacturing great sounding speakers but the MSP10's certainly don't sound bad and are worth consideration. The MSP10's do tend to have the peaky mid range sound of the NS-10's but thankfully its nowhere near as pronounced. The downside of the MSP10's are their high price tag and the fact the frequency response doesn't extend low enough to give any deep bass response. Therefore the MSP's are best suited with the optional and quite expensive SW10 subwoofer. If you bought the SW10 subwoofer along with the MSP10's you'll be quite pleased with the sound of the system.
