I haven't been able to find a lot of info about the new LED Littlites other than what is on the Littlite.com website: http://www.littlite.com/products.php?category=10
but they look very interesting albeit a little pricey (like $77 each for the 18" 4-plug right angle XLR model that looks like it would work with the 9000 Pro: model #18XR-4-LED). They new LED models have a mix of red and white bulbs and are supposed to produce a more even light than the standard Littlites, run cooler, and last a lot longer. Also they can be switched to red-only mode for low-light use. I love my Littlites on the 9000 Pro and would be willing to upgrade if the LED models worked and were better. Any opinions?

Esh,
Do you hear any sonic change if the dimmer is used on the Pro? Seems like that's trouble waiting to happen.

Nope... but to be honest I never use the dimmer - the lights are always on full. I remember trying the dimmer and not hearing any noise though.

I may take the plunge and order those new LED lights next week and see how they turn out. If they work as advertised, they could be really nice. They might even be worth the cost if the bulbs last 5000 hours as claimed. Besides, I like the idea of turning the lights on the 9000 Pro to "all red" when I'm on break.
