Check out the Yorkville KB50 too. It's smaller and lighter thanthe KB100, but not as loud.

For smaller venues, I've found the Peavey KB/A 30 to have a lot of nice features. It's a full range biamped unit with three input channels, each having a two-band eq. It's small and weighs only about 30 lbs. yet has great sound. The power output is 40 watts RMS from the low frequency section and 10 watts RMS from the high frequency section, with each amp driving an integrated speaker. In a pinch, I've actually used it on several outdoor gigs and in some fairly large venues. It got me through OK.

You can check out all the specs at the Peavey web site. I bought mine from George Kaye several years ago and it has served me well. Price is higher than you indicated you wanted to spend but maybe you could find a used one.
