Hello.

Why don't master effects work in the sequenser mode? I've copied the effects from a program, set the send level and they still won't work. inserts work and masters in the program play mode. What might be wrong? (Yes, I'm new with this synth...=) )

Hi Jussi,

Master FX do work in the sequencer mode. Are you talking about the Trinity or Triton? I own a Trinity and have only played a little bit with a Triton but I assume the fx routings are similar. My description below is on the Trinity.

Anyway, the send levels for the Master FX when you are using an insert FX is on the insert FX. You'll find the send levels on Page 7 (Insert FX) when in sequencer mode. Simply select the channel which you have the insert fx on and, over to the right (on the screen) you'll see some knobs. They will say width, pan, send1, and send2 I believe. Send 1 and send 2 are the sends for the master fx.

If you are not using an insert fx, then the regular sends will work. They are controllable via MIDI by using the regular GM CC Messages (93 and 91) for Reverb and Chorus.

Only other thing you need to check is on the master fx pages. You need to make sure that there is some level on each fx, As well, in the fx parameters window, you need to make sure that the effect is not set to "Dry". If it is, then you won't get any master fx at all.

In the Trinity, you can set the master fx to go out of outputs 3 and 4. You do this with the Pan controls beside where you select the master fx for reverb and chorus (near the top of the window).

This should give you enough to go on and the manual should fill in any blanks I may have left out.

HTH,
Fernando
