Maybe Eddie down in Florida would know some.
We have mostly pines here.
Seriously, I casually looked at some recently at Circuit City. There are many choices and a number of great features available. I suppose it depends on your needs and budget. Surely somebody will have some advice. It's a rare question that isn't answered here.

Dan: I have an older Palm, model IIIC, and really like it a lot, though I've recently been eyeing the new 'all in one' Palm OS -Cell phone device from Handspring, called the Treo 600. The 600 combines a full-featured mobile phone and Palm OS organizer with wireless applications like email, text messaging, web browsing and even a digital camera, into one device that's so small it fits in your pants pocket. The only obstacle for me is its price: $599 retail.

Now if I could only convince Santa Claus to deliver one to me for Christmas. - Scott

I have a Paln M130, and it's awesome. I looked at the Palm/phone unit first but decided against it because I often have to look at my schedule while talking to a client on the road, and that would be combersome using the same piece to talk on, and WRITE on. Too much swap, swap.
The M130 is under $200, has a great backlit screen, rechargable batteries and terrific software for your pc. It's the best calendar I've ever used.

I would also look at the pocket pc's. My wife and I both use them and they offer a bit of expanded capabilities that the palm's do not.

I've been a big Palm user for a number of years, and I am a bigger fan of the combo Palm/cell phone devices. Just a few weeks ago I upgraded to a Samsung i500, the handiest and smallest Palm device ever (smaller than a Treo). It's especially handy to have both Palm and cell phone combined because it not only saves space but you can easily call up info on the fly. It's a true pocket office... I have all of my gig/contact data and can even fax contracts from it. But the way coolest feature is this: my i500 is on the Sprint PCS service, and I can surf the web from the phone (super-clear screen) - and with one cable I can hookup my laptop to my cell phone and have high-speed internet service (seriously - on the order of 230Kbps although average is closer to 130kbps, but that ain't bad!). I'm entering this post this way actually. It's even charging the phone from my laptop while doing this. It's a bit pricey: about $599, but far more functional than having separate Palm and cell phone.
