I've just bought a TR-rack and started to work with the supplied Sounddiver editor.
This software is absolute crap!! nothing
works; I can't select patches or dump stuff
to the Korg. Am I missing something or is there a better solution?

You must be doing something wrong. It works fine with me. Check your midi cables. Select AutoSurf and Auto play from one of the menus(I can't remenber which one) that way everytime you select a sound it will be sent automatically to the TR Rack and you'll be able to hear it. I'm not an expert but to me it sounds like you have a problem with your midi connections.

I have just installed a "to host" connection
with my TR-rack and my PC-modem, and now everything works fine. I have no idea what
went wrong with normal midi connections, but
it works now.
