Recently I've been playing my Tyros a lot at a hall which has a terrible live sound - ie: the hall is like a chamber and gives off a very heavy reverb. There isn't much I can do about the hall, but I wouldn't mind completely disabling the Reverb on my keyboard styles and songs while using this hall. Is there anyway to do this, and freeze it, so that when I change styles or songs, the Reverb will remain off?

Thanks,
Chony

From the PSR FAQ at svpworld.com:

How to turn off effects.

1) Press [FUNCTION]
2) Press [E] (Reg.Sequence/Freeze/Voice Set)
3) Press [NEXT] twice (Voice Set)
4) Uncheck ''Effect'' for or any/all voice sections (according to your needs)
5) Press the [DSP] button to turn Off DSP

Now when you change voices, the DSP will not turn on.

Regards,

Michael

Thanks Michael,

But will that freeze my other DSPs like Choruses and Distortions? I only want to freeze the main reverb DSP.

Thanks,
Chony

To selectively control just the reverb, I suspect that you will have to use the Mixing Console/Effects Tab
