Hi!

What are the best prices for these instruments in US (would like b-stock or used)? Are there any dealers who ship keys to Germany at a price that's definitive under the Europeen price?

Greetings from Germany
Michael

Michael, all of the afore-mentioned keyboards purchased in the US have a different voltage output than in Europe, of which would requires a voltage adapter if used in Germany, and that the warranty would only be covered in the US, which means having to ship the keyboard back to the USA for any repairs. Don't know the B-stock prices for the PA1xPro or G70 as they're propably still all new A-stock here, and won't post the Tyros B-stock price as to not possibly offend our forum's Tyros dealers. - Scott

Followup regarding voltage: Some keyboards include an internal dip switch to change the voltage, others switch voltages via auto sensing, and of course you'd have to buy the appropriate power cord for you country. Thanks to Synthzone member "Ensnareyou" for emailing me to inform me of this. Not sure which of the above voltage switching methods (if any at all) are included on the Tyros, Pa1xpro, and/or G70. Anyone here know? - Scott

Scott,
my guess is that the Tyros as an auto-sensing method; I am not aware of any dip switches on it.

The best prices I've found so far is from: http://www.keyboardshop.com There's a link on the front page to select your country and after that all prices and shipping is calculated locally. They will ship any of the arrangers to anywhere in europe (including the G-70).

I can't speak for other countries, but the prices are significantly cheaper than any I can find in the UK - by hundreds of euros.

Happy hunting!

Power Supply on the G70 is a 100~240V universal type.

The problem with Keyboardshop is that sometimes they don't have the items they are advertising on their site, especially Roland products. What is funny is that, if you do a search for the Roland G 70, you will end up with a page where they say:

"Here is what we think is much better than the Roland G-70 :

Yamaha Tyros PROMO (Portable Keyboard)
Yamaha TYROS XL (Package Deal : Tyros Keyboard + Tyros Speaker System)
Yamaha TYROS XXL (Package Deal : Tyros Keyboard + Tyros Speaker System + Tyros Stand)"

Now, I have a feeling that this is due to the fact that they DO NOT have any G 70 to ship...
