The "Tater People"

Some people never seem motivated to participate, but just like to watch while others do the work. They are called
"Speck Taters."
Some people never do anything to help, but are gifted at finding fault with
the way others do the work. They are called "Comment Taters."
Some people are very bossy and like to tell others what to do, but don't want
to soil their own hands. They are called "Dick Taters."
Some people are always looking to cause problems by asking others to agree with them. It is too hot or too cold, too sour or too sweet. They are called
"Agie Taters."
There are those who say they will help, but somehow just never get around to actually doing the promised help. They are called "Hezzie Taters."
Some people can put up a front and pretend to be someone they are not. They are called "Emma Taters."
Then there are those who love others and do what they say they will.
They are always prepared to stop whatever they are doing and lend a helping hand.
They bring real sunshine into the lives of others. They are called
"Sweet Taters.."
If you know any "Sweet Taters," drop them an e-mail once in a while!
I know a lot of Sweet Taters on this forum! Their always ready to help you!
I just want thank my friends on this forum for all the help I've recieved since I've been on here!
About 2 years & 2 months. Time flies when your havin' fun!
Who has been a member the longest?
That would be interesting ? Don't you think?
All the best,
Nobby

I don't know who has been here longest, but there are several of us that were active on the "old" forum. I know Bob Gelman and Uncle Dave were already here when I started.

I don't know if 'how long' you've been here really counts or not, but I've been a posting member since 12/99 with 1085 posts so far. Uncle Dave beats me by nearly 400 posts and Don Mason & I, who had been running pretty much neck and neck, has now outpaced me. But hey, who's counting? . . . c'ept me

as Dan O'Neil stated so eloquently . . . one pa-tater, two pa-tater, three pa-tater, four . . .

Oddly, I was introduced to the old forum after a "search" for Kn5000. I had just bought a used one and needed to know what people thought of them. That was so long ago - I can't even remember what I was playing at the time ! I think it might have been an E86 or my i5s. Can't remember.
The search result provided a post entitled:
"The kn5000 is the best keyboard in the world" - ..... wonder who posted THAT!

Several of us became regulars after the old Technics Canada closed shop (because of negative comments about the keyboard).
I was already a member but it became my Number one stop about that time.

I was on the Yamaha PK forum for over a year. It was once very active. I still post there. But it's pretty slow there now! I found the old forum I believe in 1999? I'm not sure? I was useing one of the web search engines and just came across it.
I finaly joined it and have enjoyed it ever since. Except when we did our bellyflop.
I know I/we lost some postings in that! Sometimes these forums have quit a history.
And we add to it daily.
Do you ever go back and see what you were posting about a year ago.
Man it was just as it is today, just a differen't board we're hasseling with!
One of these dayes their gonna come out with a perfect board. Then I won't have to buy anymore!! Yeh Right!!
