So, our drummer's daughter got her degree (geology), and there was a party a couple of days ago, and she (how nice!!) asks her daddy (and his friends) to come and play for her and her friends.

So I put up a little site about my group, with a couple of pictures of that night.

Go visit http://www.oggi.it/dfd/index.htm and (I hope) enjoy.

P.S.: I know, I know... I am a little too fat....

Riccardo,
Do you have enough keyboards now?
What model keyboards do you use in your set up? I see a Korg PA80. What about the others?
I have two keyboards, my wife doesn't know about the Yammy (that is so wrong).

Starkeeper,
I see a Korg PA-80, Korg M1 (which is a great classic synth), Korg X3 (which was replaced by the Korg N series--N264, N364, and I see a Roland on the bottom, but I'm not sure what model it is..At first glance I thought it was an XP model, but I'm not sure because I don't seen any sliders above the joystick, and the joystick doesn't look like the XP series either.. Would be interested in know what model that is...

Riccardo,
complimenti vivissimi per il gruppo e per le tastiere e...lasciami dire che non sei affatto grasso...semmai un pò "formoso"...

Squeak, the Roland is a JD800.
Ciao!

Thank you for all your words.

And when you go to that site and open the SETUP picture, just stop the mouse over the gear you are interested about.

Starkeeper,
to be honest, I have two more boards: an old Roland JX-8P and a very old Yamaha CS-01 (that monophonic mini synth, with a reduced size keyboard). Moreover, there is a refurbished KORG Polysix on its way to my home...

Not to talk about my Fender Jaguar (1972) and all my daughters "gears": a celtic harp, a classic pedal harp, a vertical piano, a flute, a reduced size violin ...

Hi Ric

Great shots! You must be a gearhead, a pack rat, like Donny was talking about in the other post. I think it's cool that you & your friends have been jamming together since 1986. Sounds like a lot of fun. You guys are lucky to have kept this group going for so long!

Nice stuff Ric. I agree with Tom. That's a ncie long time to be jamming together and I think that's really cool. I like your taste in Kbs too. I have the PA80 and have had the M1 and Poly 6 as well. In fact I'm looking forward to Korg's upcoming release of the Poly6 as a DXi softsynth. I'll be rigght near the front of the line for that one.

Cheers,
AJ

Riccardo,
I'm always amazed when I finally get to see a picture of a fellow poster as they never look like what I have pictured in my mind.
