Hey all.

JUSt bought an M1 (a day ago) and it will ship my way hopefully by mid-week.

The guy I'm buying it from says it has a Plus+1 upgrade on it. Can anyone help me out with what this is? He says it adds an extra 100 samples but I'm confused about how I'll access them.

I have also heard about another upgrade kit to turn an M1 into an M1EX ... (EXK-M1) Has anyone heard of this, and would anyone have ideas where I might find one? And would it be able to be installed with this other upgrade option, whatever it is?

Anyhow, can't wait for all this gear to get here. Man, I'm really starting to love ebay.com ... picked up this M1 with three PCM sound cards and a memory card for $600, a Frontal Lobe Sequencer for $90, two more memory cards for $75 and CakeWalk v7.0 for $100.

Anyhow, if anyone can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

It adds an extra 100 samples. Each voice has 1 or 2 oscillators. These oscillators play the samples as the starting point for your programs.

The EXK-M1 upgraded the M1 to match the sample ROM of the T3. I do not believe it can be combined with the Plus 1 upgrade.
